Make a Rainbow with writer/illustrator Ged Adamson – Workshop

Saturday 16 June 2018

11.30 – 12.20

KIDS EVENT: Make a Rainbow with Ged Adamson (ages 4-8)

Make a rainbow with author and illustrator Ged Adamson, author of “Ava and the Rainbow (Who Stayed)”. Hear the tale of Ava and then make a rainbow for yourself, which will stay with you too.

Ged will read from his new book, “Ava and the Rainbow (Who Stayed),” a delightful tale of Ava, who waits for a rainbow to arrive. Once it does, the rainbow decides to stay, which pleases her no end. At first, her fellow townspeople are excited about the rainbow too. But eventually, they lose interest, and Ava learns that sometimes the rare and special things in life are the most precious of all.

Ged is also the Greenwich Book Festival Illustrator in Residence, so you will probably spot him wandering around the festival with his pen and notebook, capturing all the fun the festival will offer.

This event will be followed by a book signing. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Adults do NOT need to purchase a ticket.
