Nina Stibbe, in conversation

Nina Stibbe burst onto the literary scene with the hilarious Love, Nina, her warm, funny collection of letters home from her 1980s nannying job at the heart of the original Primrose Hill set (LRB editor Mary-Kay Wilmers, Alan Bennett, Jonathan Miller, Claire Tomalin, Michael Frayn), since adapted for television by Nick Hornby. She followed this with two acclaimed comic novels, Man at the Helm, and Paradise Lodge and a Christmas collection An Almost Perfect Christmas. Love, Nina also recounts her time studying English Literature at Thames Poly, a forerunner of the University of Greenwich, proud sponsors of the Greenwich Book Festival. The university is delighted to welcome back a celebrated alumna to its new student digs.

Nina will be in conversation with author and journalist Hannah Beckerman.
