A walk with Francis Plug: a guided tour around some of the most important locations in Francis Plug: Writer in Residence
A walking tour with Paul Ewen, the author of Francis Plug: Writer In Residence. Much of this critically acclaimed and Bollinger Wodehouse Prize shortlisted novel takes place in and around the beautiful riverside setting of Greenwich University (and a few local pubs), and on this tour you will get to explore highlights with the author himself. This is an opportunity to hear passages from the book in their actual setting, to chat informally with Paul Ewen and to enjoy a drink with him afterwards at the Morden Arms, the key pub featured in the book (allow an additional hour (at least!), drinks not covered in ticket price).
The group should meet at Room QA075 (Edinburgh Room), Queen Anne Court, University of Greenwich, Old Royal Naval College. The walk will take around 1 hour plus additional time in the pub! Wear sensible shoes and expect some stairs.
Places limited to 20, though if this event is over-subscribed we’ll see if Francis might do another tour. All attendees must have a valid ticket.
