About The Event
Children’s Creative Workshop: Look Up! Storytelling and Out-of-this-world drawing, with illustrator Dapo Adeolo
Meet illustrator Dapo Adeola and hear all about his absolutely brand-new picture book Look Up! (just published on Thursday!), written by Nathan Bryon. Look Up! stars Rocket, a science-mad chatterbox who is going to be the greatest astronaut, star-catcher, space-traveller that has ever lived… if she can just get everyone around her to look up from their ‘phones! Look Up! is a celebration of the curiosity, enthusiasm and dynamism of a young child who is always discovering, asking questions and exploring. So, get ready to look up from your ‘phone and join an interactive workshop featuring storytelling, top facts and your chance to try your hand at out-of-this-world drawing with Dapo!
‘A perfect book for young stargazers and their families everywhere. A timely, humorous reminder of what we might miss if we don’t look up more often.’ Malorie Blackman
