GBF Visits Greenwich Libraries
Reading, singing and drawing all will feature when the Greenwich Book Festival visits two Greenwich libraries at pre-festival events for toddlers on 8 June.
Children’s book author Ciara Flood will be visiting Woolwich and Blackheath libraries to read from her charming new book, There’s a Walrus in my Bed. A walrus drawing session and a sing-a-long lullaby will follow the reading.
There’s a Walrus in my Bed tells the story of Flynn, who is trying to go to sleep in his new bed but he can’t because of a rather large problem: a walrus got there before he did and his parents don’t believe him.
Woolwich Centre Library will host Flood at 10:30 a.m., followed by Blackheath Library at 2 p.m. The events are free.
Woolwich Centre Library is located at 35 Wellington Street, Woolwich, SE18 6HQ. Blackheath Library is located at Old Dover Road, Blackheath, SE3 7BT.
