At our festival, you can learn about activism from Billy Bragg, hear about Tracey Thorn’s suburban teenage years, be informed about gender bias from Caroline Criado Perez, or listen to some beautiful poetry from Jay Bernard and Mary Jean Chan, among many other fantastic events. For kids, Derek Landy will be visiting from Ireland and bringing Skulduggery Pleasant with him, Michelle Harrison will be talking about magic, and Steven Lenton and Steven Bulter will be visiting The Nothing to See Here Hotel. More creative kids can attend one of our many creative workshops including comics creation, nature illustration or crafting with the Moomins. To see our full lineup, go to bit.ly/gbf19prog
